CH1400S-G2 Milestone

Special congratulations to our friends at Fuchs Lubricants (Victoria) on their small pack production line recently reaching over 2 million pack cycles. Fuchs have been a long time Capson customer, when we told them we had redesigned the classic CH1400C to a new cam less, fully servo driven model they were both keen and happy to be the first to put one into active production on their new small pack line (up to 7lt). The CH1400S (S for Servo) is the newer brother to the classic CH1400C (Cam) unit. High performance servo drives replace the mechanical cam and follower system, making the process incredibly programmable.The servo systems position and control the cap presenter arm, the spindle height and the application chuck. The bottle spacing gate and capping height are also servo controlled, allowing for safe changes to operating parameters all while the machine is running and keeping the safety doors closed. The pneumatic systems have also been upgraded to electronic control. This technology pack brings significant benefits to the capping line, offering significant operational savings including 60% reduced power consumption, 70% less air consumption and 75% less operating noise. The new design also means a much longer service interval as there are less moving parts, less bushes and bearings. The system is also equipped with remote support and maintenance, allowing our engineers to tweak and tune the motion systems to best fit the capping profile required.
